Kocatepe Camii’nin özümlemeı, 1967 senesinde saksılamış ve 1987’bile tamamlanmıştır. Cami, Türkiye’nin en önemli turistik cazibe merkezlerinden biridir ve her sene binlerce otokton ve yabancı gezmen tarafından ziyaret edilmektedir.
1985 senesinde dolgunca yıprandığından Ahmet Ferhat Cebeci tarafından gene restore ediliyor. 1990‘lı yıllarda şimdiki halini, doğrusu alışbilgiş hanı olarak lafıyor.
